www.griotsgarage.com

they have it all. i worked for a antique exotic restoration shop that delt with very rare cars, boats, and etc.and these were the only products that we ever used. their buffer is great because it works unlike other buffers that use heat to get scratches out. Great products.

Here is a Porter Cable buffer I use. http://www.autopia.org/shopping/prod...-Polisher.html.. Never had any problems with burning. Just use the right pads.
I've used many different finishes, Mothers, Turtle, Car Polish, etc... All is fine if you're polishing your truck every month or less. I now use Zaino, stuff last four to six months. My truck is out in the open 24/7..

Just my 2 cents.

i have a black 96firebird convi use black wax http://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Wax-T27.../dp/B0006J30U2very good with hiding scratches but ido leave the car in the garage and only take it out on nice days so i don't know it hows up in the weather. base coat clear coat paint is hard to get scratches out if there bigger than a hair thick.

Iused a clay bar on mine and loved the results. It looked like a brand new truck. I also posted pics on a couple different forums and everybody commented on how great it looked. from what I gather from a guy at the fire house you can buy clay bars from Napa that are bigger then the one you get in the mothers kit. Your arms will hurt like a bitch though after your done and it will take a few hours to do it

I think Klasse is the best cleaner and paint conditioner out there. You wn't find it in a local shop, at least I can't. Had to order it from autopia and it's the best stuff i've ever used. Never seen the metal flake pop in the paint like after using that since the truck was new. A good coat of the meguiars gold class wax to cover it will last quite a while.

nothing wrong with a porter cable DA polisher. You'd have to be a gorilla to burn the paint with that thing.
