Okay, I'm not very well learned in the transmission area so I'm trying to figure somethings out.

Torque Converters, I've seen a few postings of guys who want to eliminate the lock-up as though it was a bad thing. My question is, doesn't the lock-up eliminate the slippage in the converter and make it run more efficiently? Thus if its not slipping then its running cooler?

Very likely that I'm wrong about this but like I said I'm just starting to vaguely understand that area so by all means correct me if I'm wrong!
