i broguht the truck to my mechanic and he said the same thing it is the u-joints. he also said the axle was in rough shape too. he told me he would shop around for a price and get back to me and he had this painful look on his face which leads me to belive mad $$$$. my buddy said him and his dad replaced u-joints in one of their trucks in the past. is this something i could do on my own to save some money? hye didnt say what was wrong with the axle he just said it looked in rough shape. labor is going to be ridiculous so if i could save some money and do the u-joints myself that would be helpful since im a poor *** college student.
