I don't agree. My Blazer handled better on 40" Swampers than it ever did on 33" A/T's, 35" Boggers, or 38" Swampers.
Maybe you had your frontend fixed to handle the bigger tires. Maybe it was because it was a chevy.
I don't know just going on my own expierience's.
79 ford 3/4 ton went from 12.50/33 to 44" ground hawgs and it did not drive or handle worth a sh*t
But my 01 ram with the bigger tires handles better now than it did with the little tires on it.

i have a 2001 4x4 ram with only 34000 miles and the dealership already had to replace entire front suspention and steering components. cost about 2 grand in parts/labor lucky it was under the extended warrenty and covered it all. i never even had the truck off road and its falling appart. now im having problems with my back brakes locking up [sm=headbang.gif]
just my opinion but. Its a Ford. That might have something to do with it. plus i've heard the tires you have put alot of strain on everything. just what i heard.
mine still has this a little bit also. its a 96 reg cab short box not lifted. i took it into the shop and he replaced the ptman arm and the upper ball joint i believe on the drivers side. made a worls of difference. especially through turns. ive still got some of that looseness in there, but it will be fixed later this summer when i put a lowering kit and new bushings on. ive got 125000k on my truck roght now.
