no voltage to coil
truck was running fine but it studdered the last time i drove it. after that it wont start. have fuel but no spark. checked with a known working coil...coil is good...
there is no voltage coming to coil.
it is a 99 with the 5.2
checked fuses...both places
read it's the #9 fuse inside that was good...
wires all good... any ideas?

ok... just undid wire harness tape... it appears there is one solid green wire and 1 solid blue. the blue seems to have a{fusible link? is that right or just a shrink wraped push in connector?} anyone know for sure? wires seem all good back to pcm
to top it off i had problems getting the connector off a s little temp sensor behind the alt... copper/bronze sensor broke right in half so now i have to pull the alt and hopefully be able to tap out the threads...gees

oh and if i havent modded my bracket for the cps is there any chance i could advance or retard the timing?

The holafex switch in the distributor could be bad also.... On the crank sensor, notch the bolt hole that faces the driverside of the motor, leave the other one alone just incase you wanna put it back stock
