I dunno, I've been getting like 14mpg around town and I'm pretty damn happy about it.

If your serial number starts with a 3 your vehicle is "hecho en México"
2 means made in Canada
1 means USA
4 means other

The Honda is probably as much a domestic as anything from the big 3 theses days

and no I've never tried any of the hydrogen bubblers or water injection systems.

If you live near a river or stream, try pushing your truck into it and letting the current take you down stream. That's what I call Hydro Assist. Might help your gas milage if the place you need to drive to happens to also be downstream.

Well i didnt think i would have to state the obvious in the forum but here goes...
I buy american because it is a american car\truck company, Every car\truck built today has parts from all over the globe but that is just the obvious, i support the U S A`s economy not some other country...
You can buy your honda and help their economy, good luck with all that!!!

Well, unless you bought your 2001 truck brand new from Chrysler prior to 1998 or after June 2007, then what you actually bought was from the German based conglom known as DiamlerChrysler. So that is not exactly buying American is it. Then, with your truck being assembled likely in Mexico or Canada, all the money paid to the workers who built your truck went to support the Mexican or Canadian economy, not the US economy. In the end, your purchase of an "American" Dodge Ram likely supported foreign economies as much, if not more, then the US economy.

High Ho Silver....Away, lol

Good Job, but seriously if your trying to get some crazy mpgs out of your truck, like anything more then say 16 or so then your out of your mind, and you don't know your math very good.

I didn't think I would have to state the obvious, but the trucks weren'tbuilt for fuel economy they were manufactured when gas was less then 2 bucks a gallon. Think about it
