Default A 518 Trans

ok guys. I have recieved a few recommendations on who makes a good transmission. I think im going to go with the A 518 street/strip trans from fastman.com. I was wandering if i needed to change anything specific with electronics that anyone knows of? Its getting attached to a 426 stroker and it will be ran with the FAST standalone system. Thanks in advance for the help

Isn't the A518 just another name for the 46 RE? Why not go with a APS one? Seems like the Fastman gets up there in cost by the time you get everything you need like the tq convertor and shipping and all. It seems to add up and put it not far from the price of the others and when all is said and done you have a 30 day warranty instead of a 2 year like APS offers. Plus they start with a used transmission where as APS can start with a brand new Mopar transmission as they apparently bought a bunch when you could buy them and have a bunch of them leftover. APS or Dr. Evil are the main two companys I'd look at.
