Yes , you can use the stock wire holders with 8mm wires (can with msd) . I upgraded mine cause the stockers where starting to break..

However, I don't think the 8.5 mm fit in very well. I had to use different ones.

Just put in a set of 8mm spiral core wires and they fit perfect into the factory holders

so what did you find for the 8.5mm wires? I have them shoved in the stock looms but they don't stay.

I used some from the auto parts store. They aren't all that great either. I think you can get some priceyer ones that screw together.

I got some from the autoparts store for my 8.5mm wires. I think they were made by Mr Gasket. But their seem to be lots of brands that make them in different styles.
