Texas has plenty of oil, just not being used. Its all being shipped out of the country, while we import OPEC stuff.
That is, except for a few minor oil companies and BP. Another reason I like BP gas, too bad I hear they are leaving South Dakota and will be replaced by Mobil stations.

I wasa bit lowon how much the VP 110 oct race fuel going for now. Buddies speed shopselling it for $80 for a 5gallon can($16 per gallon). Figure the track will be charging $20 per gallon. So between $304-380 toput 19 gallons in.
I live in northren IL, I pay 3.99 as of now, I try not to let it get down to a 1/4 tank, at that point Ill fill up at shell 79. 82. bucks thats a week, I cant stand setting in the house knowing I can fart around in the dodge, so I tell the wife to put only 20. dollors in her intrepid
I haven't had to fill up my ram yet, still breakin' in the motor with what was left in the tank. But oil went up $10.75/barrel today alone. Expect gas prices to reflect this soon.
