99 ram fuel pressure
I've searched the forum and havn't found a solid answer for what my fuel pressure should be. The truck is dying on my when I take it out of gear, mostly when I go to pull into a parking space of a stop with a slight turn involved. It only happens when the engine is warm,I think its the IAC or the Fuel pump. I've seen everything from 35-50 psi for the pressure. Does anyone have the proper fuel pressure for this truck:
99 ram 1500
318
Manual trans
4x4
Any help would be appreciated.

49 Psi + or -5 psi is spec. So anywhere between 44-54 psi is considered normal.
Sounds like a bad IAC is your problem.
How is your truck otherwise? lots of power?

I do have that ABS light and Brake light on right now, speedo only registers above 25 mph. I picked up the VSS from the dealership today and I'm installing it tomorrow morning. Its got 150k on the engine, I am going to pull the IAC and hit it with some carb cleaner. I've got to take the paper filter out of there and put my airhog filter back in. Its been 6000 miles on that paper filter and its very dusty in eastern colorado(lots of dirt road driving). I've always wondered what would make this thing breathe easier, it makes one hell of a sucking sound when the air cleaner is off it and you push the throttle lever open.
It runs well other than those things...
Thanks for the help!
If you want it to breath easier do a search here for 14x3 air filter mod.

Replaced that sensor in the rear axle, those lights are now off. Put my air filter back in, checked the IAC and it was all dirty, and so was the rest of the TB, I need a new PCV valve apparently. When I started the truck it did not want to stay lit until I drove it 1/4 mile, with as dirty as it is, I think I'll take the throttle body off and clean it all up and replace the IAC and PCV valve while I'm at it.
