I havea 96 Ram 1500 that has a sun-weathered steering wheel with deployed airbag. I thought about just replacing the airbag but the steering wheel is in pretty bad shape.

The 98-01 has a different wheel, don't have any idea if it's compatible. You could check the FSM.

None yet. Dont want to invest in an airbag if I dont know which wheel to get yet. Will keep ya posted. If anyone else has any info it would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 1997 and want to change to the later wheel because those stupid horn button sticks.
