I've been looking for a light bar for my truck for quite some time now. I'm interested in a simplistic basic light bar, that will accomodate 4 lights. So Far I've come up almost completley empty.

Does anyone know if it will fit the 1500? If not, how extensive can you guess modifications will be to make it work?

I emailed them already. My question really is, what is the difference between the front end frame rails on the 1500, vs the 2500/3500?

 

Just my opinion but I think it has to do with weight.

 

I just got off the phone with a lady at the MFG, and she said that it only fits the 2500/3500 because they have holes that the 1500 doesnt. I've scoured over the front end of my neighbors 2500 and the front end of my 1500, and I cannot find a single difference.

Does anyone know what the deal is?

I talked to them today. They dont have any image of the product, they wont send me a picture of it either. Not only that, its actually discontinued and out of stock! They actually told me to drive up to Compton from San Diego to see something similar.

Definetly not getting my business.

 

dont believe that its only for the 2500/ 3500 i called to this company about some mirrors form a 98 to my 96 and they said that the bolt pattern is different, well i bought some in the junk yard and they matched. in your case there is nothing different, in my opinion i would buy them you could still return them
