Default Clicking noise.. Front-right ujoint

So yesterday I started hearing a clicking noise from the right side.. sure enuff , looked underneath and I can move ujoint up and down a bit (very slightly) and it makes a slight click click.. Is this a really hard job to do? Compared it to the left ujoint, left ujoint seems fine.

thanks,

-tim

However I do remove it just to make sure the composite bushing stays in and the shift collar is still on.

Actually you should replace the bushing since you have it apart. And the seal, but that requires a special tool to install the seal and you have to remove the intermediate shaft also.

Yea that sounds about right. However the longer you wait the more chance you take on wrecking the seal if it isn't already.

If you don't remove the CAD it will take alot less time . Just have to be sure the bushing is in the end of the shaft when you remove the axle. If it is you really dont have to remove the CAD.

And I imagine the 3 hours includes replacing the ujoint.
