Default U Joint P/N check

Could somebody double check me on this: I need 2 ujoints (no CB), the Spicer Life model is SP-5-790X for a 2001 1500 2wd. Is that what you all found?

DId the research, agree on the spicers but I'll have to order them. What about the Press? I remember VWandDodge posting about the AZ Ball joint press notworking too well on the Dodge ball joints, but what about U joints?

They seem okay but I haven't had them long. I keep hearing Spicers are best.

Supposed to be stronger and I kind of wish I had gone with them. Oh well. If these wear out I probably will.

I think a lot of the ball joint presses don't have the adapter for the ball joints but I don't see why they wont work for the ujoints.

When I did my u-joints I used a table mounted vice and a socket from my socket wrench set. Can't remember what size was an exact fit but if you have a set you can size it up.

That's the problem, I don't have a HD vice or a workbench. If it can't be done in the driveway, it doesn't get done. You can do the socket thing with a big freaking C clamp too. Maybe I'll go that route.
