nut size

Default nut size

hey guys, front pass side bearing's decided to take a **** this morning, need to know the size of the nut on the end of the axle shaft ( i think its the spindle nut?) so i can get this assembly out and get er runnin again..thanks... i've tried a 1in 3/4 socket and 1in 1/2 socket both dont work.

edit: what the hell! does no one carry this socket? i mean jeez... argh.. im pretty angry at the moment.... on top of that everything we can try n grip on to it with, it wont frickin move!

I had to get a six foot length of pipe, off of my sliding table saw, about a 1/4" thick to break it. Goood luck!

well i got the socket this mornig from one of our maint. guys at work, just waitin for my buddy to bring the 1in drive over.. and she'll be back on the road tonight.. thank god.

yeah 1 11/16, get a 3 foot breaker bar and put a old extension in the rotor to stop it from moving while you take the nut off.
