yeah i plan on doing a full tune up after the plenum. I think id be a waste of money doing it now with the leaking plenum. I dont have to money to do many upgrades but am just looking at getting the engine to run as efficiently as it can. Should i do timing chain while im down there too? How hard is it.

timing chains a good idea, i havent done mine with 200k but if i was in there id do it. there easy on these engines.

I can tell you from personal experience that the thermal cluth fan is the biggest drag on these trucks. I replaced mine with an electric and what a difference that made. I suggest the change for everyone.
