Ya know what it wasn't bad at all, I was very suprised. The only thing that sucked was the brakes on the trailer sucked. Everytime I would begin accelerating, the brakes would release late and would pull on the truck for a second, other than that, no problems at all. It felt like it could do a lot more, but I wouldn't risk it.
That's cool then. I've hauled/towed some heavy **** before and the only thing that ever sucked was the stopping distance. But yours is a 2001 so it has dual piston calipers. So your brakes are better than mine to start with.

It's just really neat how powerful these rams are. It's not once let me down at all. It's been a very busy summer for my brother and I. We've had to haul and tow a ton of things this year. I've towed pallets of sod and brick. Lumber, excavators, and skid steers. The truck has handled every situation with ease. The only limiitation it has is it's suspension, the motor offers an incredible amount of output though. Now since I have 33s, my family just appreciates the truck for what it is now because it's so much more useful now, and I love it.

just baled some hay this weekend over the 4th and pulled 2 fully load hay wagons out of a field and down the road to the farm.. I'm guessing each wagon had about 125 bales or so @ 40# each.. so that'd be about 5 tons? didn't have any problems! pulled like a champ... no mind you i wasn't excatly doing 65mph but a steady 15-20 mph was fast enough
