Default 35's. i searched endlessly

hey guys. im getting 35 by 12.50s and im going to 15 inch rims. will 4.5 backspacing work? with a 10 inch rim. everyone has a different idea on what backspacing you need. i just dont want them rubbing, stickin out is fine.

I just put a set of 35x12.50 R15's on my 1500 with a 5 inch lift. I used 15x8 wheels with 4 inch backspacing. They fit beautiful and don't stick out enough that I'd need fender flares. 4.5 inch spacing would be pushing it with front brake and tie rod end clearance.

oooh okay

Just remember if you get the 10" wide wheels you're gonna need more back spacing than the the 8" wide wheels. Post some pictures when you get the tires on. What kind of tires are they?

What gear ratio you running? Some poeple say 3.55 and 35s are fine, others say it's a total dog. I just like to hear everyones opinion on the issue.

im getting 35x12.50 mickeythompson baja claws. im still deciding on rim choice.
as for gears i got the standard 3.55. we'll see how it goes im keepin my stock tires so if its absolutly horible ill switch em out until i get money for the gears. im buying the tires in about a month. the funds arnt quite there yet. but i will be posting pics of the truck now, i finally raised the front bumper after doing the body lift, man was that a bitch.

I originally had 10 inch wide wheels with 4 inch backspacing that I ordered first. They stuck out too far and I was going to need wide *** fender flares to keep from getting a ticket. The 8 inch wheels fit the 12.50's just fine. Most tire sites say that 8-10 inch wheel for the 12.50's. Have seen 12.50's on 7 inch wide wheels, but that is really pushing it. Just looked like they would fold under on a turn.

Truck looks bad *** with the lift.

Just think of the wicked flex you could get offroad if you keep the 31s on there
