If you can buy the hat like that by itself, making your own CAI wouldn't be hard at all. Hmmm.

190 bucks?!?!?!?! eff that. lol

i just found it on amazon for 150. i could go out and buy a cheap cai and just use the hat, but then i am stuck with exactly that, a cheap part. i am going to be using this with a supercharger so i want one that is metal and won't crack.
