I know here another thing is the game warden doesn't have to have permission to search your vehicle. So like if you were to tell a officer that he can't search your car and a game warden was near he could come and do it. They say here they have more power than state troopers. I don't know if thats in all states or just this one. I have a buddy thats in law enforcement. Well, a few actually and they have told me this. They said sometimes they will take them on drug busts and stuff like that too because they can go in without permission.

 

never heard ofa cop checkin over a truck, that must not be georgias thing. i had that similar thing happen to me before i got the truck. But it ended in me goin to jail.

 

Why did you go to jail. BTW I don't think looking around the outside of the truck is what they have to have permission for. I think it's the searching inside. So in his case since it's something the public can view they probably could have walked around it checking it out with or without his permission. I don't see why they wouldn't be able to but I don't know this 100% for sure.

 

I guess it's just a georgia thing then. Everytime I was ever stopped in any vehicle and a cop was looking around I asked to see his warrant and would refuse to exit the vehicle. I'm not trying to sound like a bad *** but I made myself familiar with the rules a while back. I have some family members who used to make a not so honest living. Either they write a ticket or I pull off and call my lawyer.

That's why I keep ozium in the truck. The small can fits in the cubbyhole, and disappears really easy when needed. I spray the truck down everytime I get out.

As far as getting pulled over I haven't yet, which is surprising since I'm really good at it. I try to leave the outside of my truck as close to stock as possible no stickers etc.

Why not buy one of those Ram's head taillight covers for the rear stockers??? They're completely legal, they are available in painted colors, and they are fairly inexpensive, $55.
