aside from the drama here, blinking light means continuing to drive in current malfunctioning state will damage your catalytic converter [possibly engine too?]. That is why it blinks. I wouldnt say it only blinks during a misfire, but any state which would damage the cat. Most problems which could damage the cat usu also cause misfire, however. wide range of things, stuck egr, ignition, plugs, CLOGGED CAT, injectors... maybe even severely clogged air filter? I wonder if crappy "good for the earth" ethanol mixes would cause a blink? I think somewhat, misfire condition is more likely to happen during heavy load (uphill, heavy on throttle, etC)

Help yourself to a remedial English and grammar class. I believe you to mean that "egotistial douche bags outweigh the fine people trying to help". Am I right?

Um, stop "helping" if you don't know. I'm just saying....

Mine will come on and blink if I over rev the engine. Then it stays on solid until I turn i reset it manually by disconnecting the battery. Then it doesn't show up again unless I over- rev it again.

WOW first time I seen the post since I asked. Panties are in a bind here buthere is what I am thinking.

I just installed a ProCharger soit probably is a air fuel ratio issue. I have not been to the dyno to dial it in yet (Saturday)

I am still running the platinum plugs which they say are too hot so it may also be a misfire.

The cat is a brand new high flow I doubt that is an issue.

Plus I went to fill up today and found that my gas cap was off. I removed it to release the pressurewhile installing the external fuel pump. ooopppssss[8D]
