Default Turn Signal Malfunction

I was driving home from work and my left blinker began to malfunction. I switched it on the change lanes and it worked as it should, then went to signal a left turn and it lit up and stayed on constantly until I reset the lever. Only the front signal comes on, the back one does not. The turn signal lever also no longer resets itself if I signal left. But my hazards work just fine as do my taillights and brake lights. I checked the fuses and those are fine as well. Anyone have any other ideas?

But mine doesn't blink at all. Unless the hazards are on then it works fine. I will swing by autozone and report back. In the meantime, any other possible causes?

By blinking faster i ment the forward turn signal unless yours isnt working either, next time you make a left turn see if your turn signal indicator inside your cab blinks faster, thats the warning that you have a turn signal out. If its out your front (or rear) depending on which is out, will blink faster and the dead one wont blink at all.

If I signal left the incab signal stays on steady, as does the front left signal. Rear left signal non-functional

Hmm need some other feedback then too, cuz if one of ur blubs is out. Your indicator should blink faster, have you checked your wiring? Its not hard to take off the back talelight only two screws. Easy to put back on. Maybe one of your wires is cut or frayed, even still im pretty sure it would cause the indicator to change, but i could very well be wrong

The rear one is low on fluid. lol
It sounds more like left rear bulb is out. If I have a rear turnlight out, whenI flip the lever, the light incab and at the front corner stay on.Your hazards and brakes are using a different bulb or wire in the bulb. That turn signal bulb is a dual wire bulb.

Mystery solved and everyone was right. I changed the bulb and the rear light worked, but stayed on constant like the fron and in cab signal. Then I replaced the relay, and it works perfectly.
