Hello Im the new guy, whats the bigest size tire I can put on my 96 ram 2wd without any modifications to the truck? I got 265/75's on a factory 16" wheel.

That's pretty much it for a stock 2wd. 265/75 is the same diameter as a 285/70. The 285 is just wider. The wider tire may rub the frame or the plastic stuff in the finder well. You may squeeze a 285/75, but I really doubt it. The 265 you have is a 31.6" diameter. The 285/75 is almost a 33" tire. But the width is what will determine your fitment.
