i recently got a 2000 dodge ram 1500 4x4 and the alarm on it works fine but i have this little problem. when i turn the key to the off position and i setthe alarm andit gose off 30sec after its set dude to the dim lighting, theni have to reset it again and its good. thats really annoying to do i have realized that if it is in the lock postion on the starter it wont go off but the starter wont stay in the lock postion. it keepsswitching to the off postionand then the alarm gose off after 30 seconds. as of right now i just put it in ACC and take out the radio faceplate to set it. is there any way that i can fix this?
