Can anybody give me the reasurance that I'm doing the right thing by buying the fastman throttle body? I have a 97 ram 1500 4x4 with the 318. I already have a Airaid intake system and exhaust, not headers, just flomaster. Will I notice the differance?

You will definitely notice the difference! Get the 50mm version since you have the 318 and you won't be disappointed. Instant throttle improvement and better running overall. I highly recommend it. Dan does an amazing job on them. I doubt you will find anybody who will testify any different. This is money well spent and easy to install.

A Fastman Throttle Body isn't a spacer. It replaces your current throttle body with a bored out one, allowing more air into the intake manifold, which = more power and better throttle response.

Spacers don't work in our trucks. If they were throttle body injected, they might work, but they are port injected, so TB spacers don't do anything.

It's not a spacer its the actual tb where the ports are bigger. A TB spacer on these truck does nothing at all. They are worthless on these trucks.
