no, when i was bringing it to the body shop the brakes went out and i figured it was just air in the lines, but it wasnt

drum brakes arent bad, little more than the fronts, but Ive done enough of them where i know my way around them

Don't know what year your truck is and what, if any, ABS system it is equipped with, but if it does have ABS, make sure the dump valves aren't moving/leaking.

What do you mean the brake booster moves ? It's bolted to the firewall. And should not move.

when you step on the pedal it seems like it bulges out in the center, where the plunger unit would meet the master cylender


Rear Wheel ABS btw

So you are saying the MC moves too, or are you talking with it off? I'd say theres a prob cuz non of that should be moving. The steel brake line are going to break.

still working on it, gonna try the vacuum booster next i think. all i seem to be doing though is throwing cash at the truck and not getting any results

still working on it if any of you are wondering, I am totally lost with this thing. Kinda took a little break from it to work on some other things that needed repair, but I'll get it figured out, or bring it somewhere

A failed booster will give you an extremely stiff pedal. That's not your problem. Like I said, check the dump valve on your RABS unit. Should be the same Kelsey-Hayes garbage GM used for years, and they do fail.
