I have yet to see any adverse affects from installing the fastman.. I enjoy mine.

 

If your def going to be supercharging, wait and get a 53 or higher. Call fastman and check what size he recommends. For stock though, with the 5.9 engine, the 52mm is the size to go.

none, you will love it. it is an awesome upgrade and if your going to go FI it'll be even better. just get a 52mm fastman, anything else is a waste of $

 

thanks steve, thats what i wanted to hear. i will be ordering the 52mm today or tomorrow.

thanks to allwho chimed in. it helped make my mind up. i am just always a doubter.this will be my last bolt on before i go with the supercharger.(2 or 3 months) it takes a little time to save up 4k+ for a truck mod with out the old lady finding out.

 

called dan(the fastman) and got the 52mm ordered. one heck of a nice guy. said he would be getting it made this weekend. should have it be friday.

he said that if i was going to go witha superchargerthat the 53mm is the one i need. it has some kind of reinforcement to compensate for the forced induction pressure. i told him that it would be a few months before i went that way so just send me the 52mm for now,and when i get ready i will just have him make up a 53mm. cannt wait to get the 52. hope i feel a little power increase. i will let you know what i think of it after i get it installed.[sm=happybounce.gif]
