is that to big of a tb? will i lose my low end? i will be supercharging here in 3 or 4 months if it makes any difference. gotta save up for it.

 

anyone? i know some of you guys have put on the fastman 52mm. did it have any adverse effects over the stocker?

 

U should be fine with the 52 but i wouldnt go higher until your engine is built up. If you went with the 52 and you had the 5.2 liter you would lose low end, but since youve got the 5.9 ur low end should stay the same

 

please chime in. just want a few more opinions before i purchase or not purchase.

 

Now I could easily be wrong; but if your going to a forced induction system I think you can go larger than 52mm. I'd actually contact the fastman, he could lead you down the correct path. With a 5.9 I personally think you can't go wrong with a 52mm.

there is a 53mm on ebay. and i WILL be supercharging for sure.anybody else have any insight on going bigger or just the 52mm.

 

I have a 52mm with a 50mm gasket on my 5.2 . Can't say I notice a big difference other than the ability to coast? She rolls down the road better but everything else seems the same. Had plans to build up the truck but it doesn't look like thats gonna happen.

 

+1 for the Fastman. You will definitely notice the power in the higher RPMs if no where else.
