Default How to test 02 sensors

Hope you all had a great 4TH. I have a 2000 Ram and it is throwing code errors for the 02 sensors. I was wondering if anyone may be able to tell me a way to check the sensors before replacing them. Thanks

If you have a fluke multi meter you can read the voltage on them. All you do is set the meter to check dc voltage and then plug it in at the ECM. If the front O2 is good then the voltage will go up and down. If the O2 is bad the voltage will stay in one spot. If you are checking the rear O2 then the voltage should stay in one spot. Make SURE you do not measure resitance on the O2 sensors. The little bit of voltage that the meter puts out to check resitance will damage the O2 sensors.
