Put a cam in it, people seem to overlook that for some reason. The cam is the heart of an engine, it either makes or breaks it.

I agree with the cam. If you want your vehicle to perform well, and have the money, doing the cam and valvetrain, heads, and bigger fuel injectors are where it's at. If I had the money, I'd love to open the beast up and make it even more powerful, but it's not realistic with gas prices the way they are. The cam will make true torque though. After the bigger cam was installed on my brothers truck, his truck saw some very nice improvements. His truck does 0-60 one second faster, and his passes are effortless, plus it sounds nice at idle. Really though, if you want it to be quick, those big tires and wheels can't be helpful. I've sized back down to stock basically, and the amount of power that comes from this truck is troublesome. Will do 0-60 in 7.5 seconds, and can pass people like it's taking a nap, I'm in love with it. The 4.10 gearing is probably the coolest thing about our offroad editons, it's a very special advantage. Since I really can't afford to have my engine opened up, I plan to purchase the fastman 52mm throttle body. Then to top it off, I want an SCT Tuner. Will give me 0-60 under 7 seconds easily, and I won't have to have to open my engine up.
