I can't say a cam is cheaper... lol its very close. When I added it up to do a cam you have the cam cost (300), Probably need to change head hardware (valvesprings, retainers, valve's... mise well pick up a set of heads to compliment the cam)... Heads = $$$, plus after you've done all that, mise well throw some roller rockers in $300ish, and... hardened pushrods 100ish. ... and all that good stuff. Timing chain..., while your down that far... the water pump. dont forget to do the plenum kit while your down that far.. $100 etc. It adds up quick. Not to mention teh killer. The computer tune... SCT = 600? I can get both diff's gear swapped for a little over 1000.

I would suggest cutting your runners 1" shorter then they currently are right now. After you make that cut, if your cuts are not perfect like mine were when I did mine, you can clean up the cuts by sanding and grinding down the rough edges until things are relatively even acros all the runners. After that is all finished up, the cuts will be roughly 1.25" but if done correctly should all be just about even.

Just take your time and use caution because all that cutting in a tight space is not too comfortable will high speed cutting tools. Plus all the metal shaving that are tossed into the air for your to breath are no good either. It would be a good idea to get yourself a respirator as well as a face sheild for doing this mod.

Hey thankx guys, it'll probably be a few weeks untill I can actually get around to doing anything but that gives me a little more time to get some stuff thrown together and ordered so that I can get all, or most of which, done at once!

The keg will definitely come first but the gears are a save more money item. I still gotta talk to Mike over at J&M Offroad about giving me hand with the install after hours.

Thanks again for the suggestions
