Default Door question

I bought a new to me 1500 last week, noticed the drivers door sags, then noticed the spring is missing from the upper hinge. Anyone know where to get a spring for it or a new set of hinges for it?

Please and thank you.

Mike

You could always try your local salvage yard too.

Will try the yards again, last weekend there was not a ram to be found. Anyone know if a durango spring and/or hinge would work?

Is there a way to get the springs out of the hinges? I have a old hinge that my buddy slammed the door open soo hard it bent the top hinge and pulled a dent in the door at the lower one. I just went to the dealer and got a new hinge. I still have my old one. The hinge where it mounts against the body is bent but the springs should be good. I might consider selling it if I could get it out.

I noticed while surfing ebay there is a puller for the spring when I get one the tool will be here. Just compresses it enough to pull it out or install it.

8 bucks plus shipping for the tool. Should work, have a line locally for a spring have to go look tomorrow but will buy the spring from you if you get her out.

My local yard has a dozen 2nd Gen Rams of varying years. I feel sorry for you guys who don't have any at yours.
