Has anybody tried those SLR chips that are advertised here. Specifically a V-10 owner would be nice, but I'll take anybody whose tried one. Was there any improvement?, any harm, was it easy to install, just wondering. I get 10 MPG's and even if I get a 20% improvement in milage would be GREAT. The truck is already quick enough,afterall it will pull anything. Just curious, It seems to cheap or should I say inexpensive to be true.[sm=americanasmiley.gif]

 

i don't have one, but I've been looking to get one.. in the mean time try adding acetone to you gas when you fill up

What does the acetone do or supposed to accomplish??

 

Ups the octane rating, from what I've read, haven't tried it yet.

 

It works.. I get about a 2mpg increase when mixing 3 oz. per 10 gallons but don't add more han that because it will decrease your mpg! cleans carbon off too!
