hi, ive got this knocking noise that i hear right under me and i can feel on my feet when i hit bumps/pot holes, i cant figure it out for the life of me. and its both passenger and driver side.Any ideas? Maybe control arm bushings

Check your lower shock mounting bolts, they'll sometimes come loose

 

+1 lower shock bolts. tighten to 100 lbs torque. that takes a big *** pull bar, pipe, or air gun.

 

alrighty then ill be checking them in a bit here, ill let you guys know. Really appreciate the input/help

 

Mine made that same noise for like 2 years and I finally replaced the front shocks and the noise went away

 

you might also want to check the upper control arm bushing... if your feeling it on the floor board then the CA is the only thing in that area. my '05 does it as well and I know my CA bushings are shot.

 

Check the inner fender liner on both sides. They will become loose over time. worked for me
& a buddy of mine.
