Oh boy, I just ordered their heavy duty headlight harness to see if that would help my terrible headlights. Well see. Supposedly it shipped early last week.

Anybody have experience with this part?
I just ended up ordering this too. I was going to just get a Luminics or Nokya plug and play headlight harness for high wattage bulbs but decided to go ahead and spend the extra $14 or so and get this instead since it will hopefully do all that the others would and more. The others were just supposed to stand up to the heat of high wattage bulbs more.

I just recently ordered and installed the heavy duty headlight harness from LMC. I ordered it online on a Sunday night, it shipped via UPS ground from Lenexa, KS (Kansas City) on Monday and arrived in Seattle on Wednesday. No complaints there. The part itself seems to be pretty good quality. It is made in Taiwan and the instructions on the package are poorly translated, but the installation is a breeze and my headlights are now relayed and drawing from the battery, so I shouldn't burn out my headlight switch ($100) or the headlight switch connecter ($40). That makes it worth it to me. The package seems to say that 60-100W bulbs can be used, but I haven't tried it.

What exactly do you have to do to install it? Is it just basically plugging it in and running a wire to the battery? If so does it give you the wire to run to the battery or do I need to just use some hookup wire? Also how did you run the wire to the passenger side from the battery? Since the battery is on the drivers side I know I will have to run it across the engine bay but I'm contemplating if it would be better to do it behind the front bumper somehow or if it would be better to go to the back of the engine bay and around on the firewall. That's how I've wired the Honda but I'm thinking if I went behind the front bumper somehow I would be able to hide it better and get it so it looks factory if you can even see it's there. Is there any danger if it gets close to the radiator of it getting hot or anything?

man that sucks, sorry to hear it got all beat up on you, but I think your blaming the wrong company. more than likely the shipping company didn't take care of it, and thats why it got beat up. I have dealt witht hem several times and on the few occasions I have had an issue, (misboxed parts, dented hood) they have been more than happy to rectify the problem for me. I even stopped by there place once when I was in kansas city (lenexa is a suburb).

I'm willing to bet if you called them up and said that you were able to straighten out the dents, but still needed a light fixture they would drop one in the mail first thing for you.

I have never had any issues at with LMC i have had great luck with them even the oil pun i ordered for my stroker 4.3 the chrome finish was perfect. I more than likly shipped UPS and those pot heads are probly the ones that damaged it. (I have had this issue before with them)
