WHAT IS CONSIDERED HIGH MILEAGE FOR TRANSMISSION
APS is expensive but they start with a brand new unit. If you get a new one from Dodge it's even rebuilt now unless you can find somewhere that has one left over instock from years ago when you could get them new which I doubt. You can however get a OEM one that's brand new in the crate not rebuilt from APS for a lot cheaper than through Dodge. He apparently bought a bunch of them or something when you could get them new and thats how he has new ones. He lists then on his site. I think they are under 2k but then you need a tq converter I think. Anyway you can get a OEM one from him for a good price but honestly the oem ones have soo many issues I wouldn't want one in my truck. Thats the beauty of his built ones they fix the issues that the oem ones have so they will last. There is a guy on PS that I think said he went through 2 trannys and finally got a APS and it was the only one that would hold up.
APS is expensive but imo well worth it. Other ones like the Fastman and Dr. Evil might be slightly cheaper but once you add up everything not that much cheaper and they are rebuilt not brand new. Then it seems like a lot of times guys end up spending almost that at local shops and have nothing but problems. 01DodgeRam360 is a prime example of this.

Well I'll give them another shot and see. Don't get me wrong they sound like awesome tranny's but man that means my truck will be down for awhile saving for that bad boy. But thanks for all the help. I'll still buy the other truck though because I know I can sell the stuff that's on it and use the $ for the APS unit.
