Default Tranny on a 99 ram 1500 4X4

Ok this is what my truck is doing, and has me really confused. I can drive it for about 30 min or so, then my overdrive off light comes on. I push the button and it still shows the OD off. Then if I keep driving the trans temp light comes on. I can shut her down for about 10 min or so and then it is ok for a short time, I have changed the fluid and filter and still the smae problem. It has no problems with it shifting gears, it is not rought or jerky. I can not for the life of me figure this one out. The trans cooling system was replaced just last year as my wife decided to kill her deer with the truck instead of the gun !!!! Any advise or sugestions?????

Just a long shot but could the cooling lines be pluged or reversed?

The tranny lines on these get cloged pretty commonly. Theres a valve type thing on the passenger side by the radiator I think. Clean that out. But your best bet is just to get an aftermarket cooler. Heat really kills these trannies.
