Anyone have the hypertech tuner? if so are they worth the money?

 

i have the max energy. i would say 20hp and 2-3mpg on the high octane setting. 500 more rpms and alot better throttle response. i like mine but if i was going to do it again i would get the superchips flashpaq. from everything i have read the sc is the way to go.

 

The SCT tuner is more spendy, but supposedly even better. As as I get a little more $$$, and assuming I can hide it from the wife, thats the way I'm going.

Still can't post my long post. I think it was worth the $160 I paid didn't notice much of a power difference but features are nice. Not worth much more than that to me but worth $160.

 

That's the really short version of what I wanted to say. SCT seems to be the way to go if you want power.

 

i bought the flash paq .. worth the money ??? i dono yes i can feel the difference .. dont know on the gains but deff shifts better and more mid range .. i am disapointed as it didnt let me adjust for tire size .. i have the 98 5.2 auto 3 55 gears and 315's on stock rims so im probley askin for a bit from this truck .. havent done any air filter mods yet .. any one with some possitive feed back on their filter mods please let me know ... thanks russ
