IN MY PICKUP I HAVE A CB TO TALK TO OTHERS THAT I AM TRAVELING WITH I HAVE ITMOUNTED UNDER THE ASHTRAY AREA AND BARELY UNDER THE CUP HOLDERS IN MINE WIT NO PROBLEMS IT WILL BE KINDA CLOSE TO UR LEG BUT IT HAS PLENTY OF ROOM ON TOPBTW I HAV A 2WD FOR THE RECORD

Wow...I've been away too long! But same questions get asked! :P Anyway...here is a link to a posting I did in which I posted my interior to the location of my CB. It is a big cobra brand. Hope this helps!

thanks for the help. i will get a marine radio and run it with my cb now that i know it will work that way. as for mounting, my cb is already under the ashtray. So i think im gonna mount it on the floor under the cupholder. it will have clearance but my girlfriend might lose her leg space lol
