Default Seats Fit?

I have a 95. Does anyone know if all 2nd gen seats fit in all 2nd gen Rams? If I buy an 01 seat, will it fit and bolt up? What about 3rd gen seats? - thanks

The only thing i know of that you need to watch out for on the 2nd gens is the seat belt in the seat at the shoulder or separate from the seat. I have seen it both ways. my 2001 has a standard cab with the seat belt attached to the truck interior, not in the shoulder rest of the seat.

I know nothing about the 3rd gen seats.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the only seats that have the seat belt in the head rests, on 2nd gens, is on quad cab models.

A 2001 front seat will NOT bolt into a 1995 Ram. The bottom bracket to floor bolts in a different location and angle. The bottom bracket to seat bottom bolts are in different locations. It would take fabricating an adapter plate between the seat and bottom bracket.

Pretty sure 94-98 will interchange but after that their were changes to the floor so its a no go. I got a set of 98 seats from the wreckers and carved up the manual pedestals so I could mount my race buckets, didnt want to modify my stock pwr seat pedestals.

with the right amount of work you can get it done depending on what you wanna do but a simple pull and bolt down isnt gonna work
