what made the "big" jump in your mpg? hit the highway a few more miles than usual?
why would we laugh at a car getting better mpg than a full sized 4x4 truck with oversized tires?

not that 15.5 is all that impressive. had he said 20-25, or 100mpg, now then you would have my full attention.

I would kill for 15.5 mpg, who else with a second gen gas job is getting better than that?

Really? I get 13.5-14 now, all city. I never hit the highway.
1500 QC 4x4 5.9L

Edit: I used to get 10-11 before rebuilding the tranny, new cat and new O2's, and new tires 265/75/16

we are getting 15+ around here.. https://dodgeforum.com/fb.asp?m=1152669

I get 12-13 on the highway and 7-9 in town. I couldn't get over 14 if something else was pulling me[:@]

I get 10-11, all in town, usually. I might try changing out my oxygen sensors here soon, see if that makes any difference. Then maybe some of my other sensors... never know when one dirty sensor is going to foul everything else up.
