mine was under my drivers seat until i took it out to try and sell it. Now im wishing i would have left it all in

I used a Wunder(spelling?) mount. You just unbolt your passenger seat and this slides in between the seat and the bracket it bolts too and then you put the bolts back in. Then you just drill holes in this bracket to screw the bracket that came with the cb into. This way you don't have to drill any holes in your truck and it works great imo. The only downside is it's not the most comfortable if someone sits in the middle.

There are pictures although mine is mounted on the Wunder mount further down so it doesn't stick up quite so high.
