yeah i wont do a lot of towing just mainly daily driver and a hunting truck and my mechanic is giving me a full year warranty so i will try to tow some things in that year to see if it will hold up!....costing me 900.00 for the whole rebuild with a rebuilt torque converter and all new overdrive parts maybe up to 1100.00 but notmore than that so i think i will try it and see!
Well, as a daily driver and at that price for your rebuild, its a no-brainer. Thats REALLY cheap... I don't dare say how much I paid, but I had some upgrades and cooler issues, as well as a shift kit (love it).
I think a base rebuild was $1800

I would personally avoid a rebuilt torque converter and spend a little more for a new one, unless funds are extremely tight. When a torque converter grenades, all sorts of crap gets shredded in there.

Responce to anti drain valve , do i need it or not .
No you dont need it if you start the truck and let it run in (n) for a few min to get the fluid flowing ..
You would need it if you start the truck then go and not let it sit for a few min..
