I paid $350 for my B&G, and it was an amazing mod. It did what I had hoped the Hypertech would do, but didn't.

B&G you have to send in your pcm to get flashed (down time)
The SCT, no down time, 2 tunes included(performance & economy)and can get updated tunes via email if you make changes/additions

The SCT will hold up to 3 tunes and can be switched between all 3 plus stock tune as long as the tuner is plugged into the obdII port under the dash (above gas pedal). Ignition and fuel maps are adjusted at various rpms and engine loads, generally advancing the timing and giving a bit more fuel will give better performance. Econo tune would have say stock ign timing with a bit of fuel pulled out at idle &cruise rpms under light load. Heavy load you dont want to pull any fuel or it will probably detonate.

B&G flash gives you one tune only and no going back to stock without sending it back in.

Generic tunes are only so good, without dyno & wideband(a/f ratio)info its hard to get the most out of a tune.

I want a tuner, and from my research am leaning towards a SCT. I just was wondering if the price has came down that much or am I looking at the wrong thing?

Sorry to give you the bad news but, that is a Super Chips tuner, NOT an SCT http://www.sctflash.com/

and btw, there is nothing wrong with the super chips tuner either. The SCT is better, but it depends on what you have done to the motor and what you are going to do in the future.
