damn! where were these when I had my 5.9 gasser?

sweet looking manifolds, I'll be keeping an eye out for a review.

Speaking of which, if you guys do a diy writeup let me know and I'll add it to the thread at the top. also applies to a performance review... there is a template in the CTD thread also tacked to the top.

I find it interesting that they are using a 14x3 round air filter on the engine pictures in the install

another manifold option
without the troublesome plenum
is the Hughes Engines mod of the
Edelbrock Air Gap manifold:

http://www.hughesengines.com/partDet...p?partID=11596

tech article about it

http://www.hughesengines.com/general...icleID=1000050

but at other forums the reviews, dyno results, and track tests of this Air Gap are not as good

yeah hughes is proud of that FI airgap. they want 730 for it. Im sendin my M1 back to summit and ordering that other intake manfiold from mancini. thats almost 300 cheaper than summits.

ill have a DIY up for it later

FWIW, any time you change to the old style single-plane manifold, you are going to loose major low end torque. Found this out on small block chevys years ago. Unless you're drag racing, stick with the stock manifold or dual-plane setup. Much more streetable in my opinion.
