Hey guys im looking to get more power and more mpgs out of my 360. I know it wont get great mileage ever and im fine with that but 8 mpg and no ***** isnt working for me. I will be running 35s so i want good torque to help with in town mileage. I wanna run pump gas and dont need a race truck. Just decent power and toque. Would be nice to beat the spoiled kids in their new daddy funded trucks. Ecspecially in my 94. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You can stroke it, but I personally think you should start by regearing, especially if you're wanting to run 35's.

and there's something wrong if you're only getting 8 mpgs. I stroker kit won't fix that.

 

well keep in mind his speedometers off which is throwing his odometer off which isnt giving him exactly accurate milage... plus with a worn out 360 and tall gears like 3.55s turning 33s or 35s... 8mp doesnt seem too far off... i have a 360 in my 2500 and i was turning 35s with 3.55 gears and before i switch over from an automatic to a 5 speed manual i couldnt go anywhere without going to the gas station... if u got the money id stroke it and regear for the 35s... and if possible switch over to a 5 speed its not the easiest thing in the world to do but it was worth it for me
