AC Compressor cuts out after 15-20 minutes. Any ideas why?
My clutch stops spinning after 15-20 minutes. WhenI let the truck set for a half hour, the process repeats.
My ac is fully charged andI installed a brand new relay. The compresor seems to spin freely with no "bad noise".Any ideas what could be the possible cause of this. Thanks.

I always thought the clutch was supposed to spin for a bit and then quit for a bit and then spin again, and so on, when the truck isn't moving.
could be your low pressure switch mine was doing the same thing here a link to my fix

Mine was a sensor in the Condensing Box. I guess it would freeze up, telling the A/C to stop working until the sensor thawedout. You'd be driving and all of a sudden the Air flow would change, and the cab would fill with hot humid air. talk about irritating. The dealer relocated the sensor and it seems the problem has not returned. 03' 2500 CTD HO.
could be your blower resistor under the dash sounds more like your pressure switch mounted on thr dryer reciever.
