Even without the HP & Torque gains, which are not huge, but definitely noticeable, the ability to change rev & speed limiter, the ability to read & reset codes, speedo recalibration for tire size, etc., the unit is worth the price alone for the way it firms up the transmission shifts, IMO...

That tranny firmness must be in the 3rd gens. Are their trannys computer controlled?

It didn't do anything for my 2nd Gen when I had it. There's no computer controls for the 46re except maybe the OD.

Yep. Their site claims it can adjust the OD shift. Obviously it can't the rest, since on a 2nd gen its controlled by that cable.
