Default Grinding noise WTF!

When making a hard left turn at parking lot speeds I get a LOUD grinding noise followed by the sound of a bell at a prizefight, they kinda occur at the same time, I cant see anything rubbing, leaking or out of wack. I suspect the disk brakes because of the ringing sound.
Anyone have any input?
Thanks.

If its a 4wd, check your axle u-joints

check the wheel bearings mine did almost the same thing when mine went. it was a grinding and then the wheel would shift and it would hit metal and make a ring. Jack the car up and push the wheel sideways at the top of the wheel and the bottom. You will know if it is bad.

if it is your bearings and you let it go for too long, it will wear out your axle seal (if on drivers side).
So if you have to replace your bearings, its time to do the u-joints at the same time, and if you are doing both hubs might as well get the axle seals replaced wether they leak or not, because.......... they will leak soon enough.
