I saw a beautiful 2001 XCab 4x4 Off road with a chrome brush guard and step sides. It has something called the "California Package" and I don't know what the hell that is (I just moved to monterey, Ca, hence the california package). It has 41,250 miles on it and an extended warranty good till 2011 or 100K. It is straight stock. The only bad things are a ding on the tailgate (he backed up forgetting it was down) and it has the retail authorized software update. Or Death Flash. Thats a quick fix with a new chip. I paid 10K for it and the warranty is transferable (Chrysler) for 50 dollars. Oh its a 5.9. i love my 5.2 so any info about 5.9s will be helpful.

My 5.2 has more *****, but I have done a lot to the engine as you can see from below.

I am thinking of keeping it stock till 2009, then going for Gibson headers, SCT tuner, Mallory ignition & Coil, 24lb injectors and maybe shocks.

The trck was made in Saltillo, and my current 1996 was made in Dodge City. Is there anything I should know about mexican made trucks?
